Our team

Our team consists of our field’s most competent professionals, some of which have more than 25 years of experience.
An expert teaching staff with specific pedagogical and linguistic training implements dynamic and interactive lessons in which the student is the center of the learning process.


Our history

[1986]  Centro Humboldt is founded.  [1992]   Recognition BILDUNGSURLAUB in Germany.  [1993]  Collaborating centre of the Generalitat de Catalunya / Launch of mobility projects for youths in the EU.  [2000]  Study with Volkswagen and SEAT about intercultural aspects in international cooperation. / Transnational mobility projects with the Senate of Berlin.  [2003]  First telc examination centre in Spain.  [2004]  Development of the first virtual campus for language learning for companies and its virtual management.  [2005]  Specific intercultural seminars for China, Japan and countries in Eastern Europe. / Instituto Cervantes accredited centre.  [2006]  Launch of first blended learning courses.  [2009]  Outsourcing of training management for corporate clients. / Design and production of business seminars.  [2010]  Humboldt Comunicación Intercultural S.A. takes over ABC College.  [2011]  Incorporation of ABC College into Humboldt Comunicación Intercultural S.A. / Inauguration of a new 900m2 head office in a corporate building on Guillem Tell, 27.  [2012]  Launch of online English, German, French and Spanish courses.  [2013]  Participates in the programme “The job of my life” from the Ministry of Employment in Germany, and prepares more than 450 youths for their training in Germany. / The University of Barcelona accredits it as a recognised centre for English, German and French courses.  [2014]  ISO 9001 certification by TÜV Rheinland internacionales. /  MobiPro projects in Barcelona, Madrid and Andalusia.  [2016]  Organisation of Mobility Workshops with the participation of representative agents from official organisms in Germany and Catalonia. / Development of the online/face-to-face service. / Development of PBL (Project-based learning). / Launch of a new German vocational training project (Nov 2016 – June 2017) in Barcelona, Madrid and Jerez de la Frontera.  [2017]  Catalonia-Germany mobility project in cooperation with the Barcelona City Council. / The German Ministry of Employment invites ABCHumboldt as an innovative company in mobility projects to its annual congress in Berlin. / Launch of new blended learning programmes.
